Ko'o Hana No'eau / HSFCA's Biennium Grants Program

Welcome to Ko'o Hana No'eau / HSFCA's Biennium Grants Program
Welcome to Ko‘o Hana No‘eau, the online application process for the Biennium Grants Program of the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (HSFCA). Through this program, funding is awarded to organizations conducting programming in the arts, culture, history and the humanities that benefits the people of Hawai‘i.

Ko‘o Hana No‘eau – “support the arts” is a new venture in technology for the HSFCA. Through the online application process, the HSFCA asserts its efforts to increase access to arts funding for Hawai‘i’s communities and simplifies the application process. Grants are reviewed and awarded relative to the State of Hawai‘i’s biennium budget. To qualify for a grant, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the Biennium Grants Program.

Before you begin to complete the forms, please review the applicant guidelines, including the priorities of the HSFCA strategic plan. Please click on "eligibility" to review guidelines. If you need additional help, you may contact Charles Medeiros at HSFCA at 586-0309.

The HSFCA has re-designed the gateway to our granting programs to include a complete registration component. This section has been created to assist you with the application process by

  • increasing access to the arts and distributing funding in support of arts and cultural activity in our communities statewide.
  • retaining information about you or your organization so that you do not have to re-enter it for every grant application you file with us.
